Our time at Nana and Grandpa's House

We usually spend a fair amount of time at Drew's parents' house in the summer - they live on a lake and the kids just love being outside up there! Alex loves boat rides, Lauren hates them! Imagine that - she hates the car too! Here's some recent pictures taken the last few weekends up at Drew's parents... Also - here's some pictures of Lauren's very first ice cream cone - of course Nana and Grandpa gave it to her! Not mom. :) She wasn't sure what to think of it, but then loved it as the pictures tell...

The kids are LOVING summer!

The kids are just loving summer! So are their mom and dad, especially mom since she's the one who gets to spend most mornings at the park!! We got a new slide this spring that hooks up to the hose outside to become a waterslide - Alex and Lauren both LOVE it!

Alex is fishing this summer!

Alex has taken to fishing this summer! He actually caught his very first fish on Father's Day and since then has caught about 10 more. Good thing there is a lot of fish off of Drew's parents' dock because he loses interest REAL fast! But, his dad is loving that Alex seems to be a little interested in one of his favorite hobbies!! Grandpa Vohs is proud of him too - now he just needs to show off his skills to Papa O'Brien!
