We have been spending a decent amount of time at Home Depot as of late as Drew and I are hoping to remodel our kitchen this spring/summer. Well needless to say, Alex LOVES Home Depot and every time we go, he has to "drive" all the riding lawn mowers as soon as we get there. These pictures are compliments of Aunt Betsy - our design specialist - on our last visit last weekend. Alex loves it so much that the other day, I drove by a different Home Depot (one he had never been to) and from the backseat, he yelled, "Stop mom! I go to Home Depot!"

Alex embraces his "IRISH" heritage!
At school this week, Alex made a shamrock hat that he was so excited to show off to his dad when we got home. We figured his Uncle Mike and Aunt Kristin would especially love this one!

Lauren's new swimsuit
Well - Lauren just got her swimsuit for her first summer! Thanks to Aunt Kristin for finding the right size - mom had trouble finding it. We put it on her today and boy, did she love it! She immediately started laughing and talking. It's almost as good as being naked! And she loves to splash in the bath so I'm sure she'll love swimming this summer. She's even teaching Alex not to be scared of the water! And most importantly, the swimsuit passes Dad's inspection - IT'S a ONE-PIECE!

Aunt Betsy's visit
We have had an interesting few days. Drew, Alex and myself all either got the stomach flu on Friday night or food poisoning, but needless to say the weekend was pretty shot. Then on Monday, Lauren had her first vomiting experience - so sad. She's got her spunk back today though and finally showing interest in food again - YEAH!
However on Sunday evening, Aunt Betsy came down and visited (much to her dismay since she got sick on Tuesday). Alex loves when she visits as he especially loves her dog, Chuy. Alex tells us, "I like puppies - I like Chuy - I like Zeus." But he loved playing cars with his Aunt Betsy!
